Custom ISO Mount VPS: Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions.

How do I install from an ISO?

Paste the HTTP or HTTPS link to a bootable ISO in the control panel, attach it and reboot. Then complete the installer through the HTML5 VNC console.

Which operating systems can I install?

Most images that boot under KVM with BIOS or UEFI will work, including FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, Alpine, NixOS, pfSense, OPNsense and VyOS. Some installers need VirtIO drivers to see the disk and network card.

What should I do after the installer finishes?

Detach the ISO in the control panel and reboot so the server starts from its disk. If the installer did not set up networking, configure the IP address and gateway assigned to your server.

How fast is a new server ready?

boots.

Can I upgrade my plan later?

Yes. You can move to a larger plan from the control panel. Your data and IP address stay the same.

Is there a contract or setup fee?

No. Plans are billed monthly or yearly with no setup fee, and you can cancel at any time.

Is DDoS protection included?

Yes. Every server sits behind always-on DDoS filtering at no extra cost.
