Hiddify Panel on a VPS: Setup, Users and Client Connections

When your server is ready, we email you its IP address, the root password and a link to the Hiddify panel. The same details are in your client area, under the server’s information. In the commands below, replace SERVER_IP with your server’s IP address.

Within the first hour, open the link from the email. Later, get a new admin link over SSH:

1. Connect to the server with the command below. On the first connection, type yes to trust the server’s key.
2. A security notice appears. Press OK.
3. In the menu, choose Show admin link.
4. Copy the link it shows and open it in your browser.

On first opening, the panel asks for a few settings:

1. Country: choose Others.
2. Domain: enter a domain you own whose DNS A record points to your server’s IP address, for example vpn.example.com, or the subdomain from your welcome email.
3. Decoy Site: optionally enter the address of a website to show to anyone who opens your domain or IP directly.
4. Click Submit. Setup takes about five minutes.
5. Copy the admin panel link that appears and keep it somewhere safe.

Users are managed in the Users section. A default user is created for you and can be used straight away.

1. Open Users and click Create.
2. Enter a Name. It is the only required field.
3. Usage limit: the traffic the user may consume, in GB. To match a 3 TB plan, enter 3000.
4. Package Days: how long the user can use that traffic, for example 30.
5. Click Save.

Each user has their own page. In the user list, click the button in the User Link column to open it.

1. Show Usage Details shows the traffic the user has left.
2. View QR Code shows a code to scan with a phone; Copy gives the link for other clients.
3. The All Configs tab lists each protocol separately. By default the AUTO configuration is used.
4. Temporary Short Link gives a short address you can send to the user.

Use the Hiddify app on all three systems.

1. Download the latest Hiddify release for your system from its GitHub page and install it.
2. On Windows, open C:\Program Files\hiddify, right-click HiddifyNext.exe, choose Properties > Compatibility > Change settings for all users, tick Run this program as an administrator and click OK.
3. In Hiddify, go to Settings and set Region to Other.
4. In Settings > Config Options, set Service Mode to VPN.
5. On the user’s page, copy the connection link.
6. In Hiddify, click + New Profile (or + at the top right) and choose Add From Clipboard.
7. Click the large round button. It turns green and shows Connected. Click it again to disconnect.

Install Hiddify from Google Play, or the APK for your device from its website.

1. In the app menu, go to Settings and set Region to Other.
2. In Settings > Config Options, set Service Mode to VPN.
3. On the user’s page, open View QR Code.
4. In the app, tap + New Profile (or +), choose Scan QR Code and scan the code.
5. Tap the large round button to connect.
6. To send only some apps through the VPN, turn on Per-app Proxy in Settings and tick those apps.

Install Hiddify from the App Store. V2Box and Shadowrocket also work.

1. Open Hiddify, tap + New Profile (or +) and choose Scan QR Code.
2. Scan the code from the user’s page.
3. Tap the play button and allow the app to add a VPN configuration.

To update, open the Actions tab in the admin panel and choose Update. The panel reinstalls itself in about five minutes. If you lose the admin link, connect over SSH and open the menu:

/opt/hiddify-manager/menu.sh

Hiddify Manager is installed directly on the server, without Docker.

1. Hiddify Manager (hiddify/hiddify-manager), in /opt/hiddify-manager.
2. The panel issues SSL certificates for your domains itself.
3. Xray and sing-box cores, updated together with the panel.
